It's a Charmed Life...

Today's activities got me thinking...what is it about charm bracelets that make women swoon?
I couldn't help but notice the number of women coming in and admiring the new line of charms that we just got in.
One would have thought we were giving away Delman stilettos.
Then I realized the emotions that are involved in charm bracelets.
Here are some common statements that I overheard from my plush pink bed beside the counter:

"Oh, I must get this birthstone for when my daughter was born!"
"I can't believe you have a charm of an Oreo cookie, my favorite snack growing up!"
"OMG, you have a boot charm!"
"Perfect! You have a house charm! We just bought our first home!"
"OMG, the diamond pave puffy heart is gorgeous...give it to me!"
...and many more "OMG'S" and "Awwww's"

I realized we were selling these like hotcakes because it captures everyone's "story"
Even if women were starting out with one charm, say their initial.
It still says something about the person wearing the little trinket.
It's the beginning of a story that will be told.
Have you noticed charm bracelets never go out of style?
I mean really though, how could something so beautiful and unique ever "go out of style"?
This my dear friends is the REAL style.
A story on your wrist, or in ViVi G.'s case, wrist or necklace because, duh? We have both.
THAT is the biggest trend of all...
Our charms won't break the bank.
You won't see yourself coming and going.
You will glance down and smile; knowing this design you created on your own.
Okay, or with some help from a ViVi G. girl who suggested you put the cupcake charm next to the peace sign.
But, you get it.
It's your own creation and you get to wear it proudly.'
So here's the moral of the story...
I know EVERYTHING there is to know about charm bracelets.
I did in fact lay in my bed for 7 hours while watching and listening to women create their masterpieces.
And if you ask me my favorite charm?
That would be the ever so handsome silver Labrador wearing an enamel coat.
A girl can only wish.
For now, that charm is going on my collar...mom says I'm too young to date.
Have a "charmed" morning everyone!

Happy Shopping!
